No, walkers only serve one household at a time. Majestic Paws believes in providing individual care to clients, so your walker is fully focused on your pet or pets.
We assign one walker to your dog, and you can expect that same walker to arrive every time there’s a walk scheduled. The only thing that would prevent that from happening is if that employee calls off sick or schedules a vacation. In that case, a field manager or another walker will cover to ensure that your dog gets his or her walk that day.
Each walker is background checked and goes through a stringent multi-day interview process to vet them as fit for work with Majestic Paws.
Absolutely! In fact, the very first walk will be a “meet and greet” in which you and your dog can get to know the walker we’ve paired with you.
The walker will introduce themselves to your doorman, set the lock box for the key, or whatever other arrangements we’ve made with you for gaining access.
Yes, we are fully licensed by the city of Chicago, and we carry insurance through Pet Sitters Associates. This protects you against theft, accidents, property damage, injury or loss of your pet, etc.
We offer a two-hour window for each visit, except during our standard mid-day timeframe which is 11 AM to 2 PM—and you can expect your walker to arrive within your assigned window. The only exception would be during extreme weather conditions, but we will be in touch if we’re running late on those days. For puppies under six months of age and special-needs dogs, we offer special time-window options.
If your regular walker is out for any reason, we will assign a different walker to the visit. We recognize that each dog has different needs, so we do our best to assign a walker who will be a good fit for your pup. If this happens, you will be notified that a different walker is being assigned—and you can rest assured that your pup will be in good hands!
Absolutely! You may call at any time to get updates about your pet. We always give updates via the app after every walk, but if you’d like, we can even have your dog walker or pet sitter call you after the visit to provide an update on your pet’s condition.
We love puppies! We understand that puppies have special needs and we’re happy to provide for those needs during our visits with your puppy.
Absolutely not! Whatever you would like us to do for your pet during our visit is included in the price.
Yes, you will. The dog-walking app we use comes complete with GPS tracking, so you can see the route your dog and their walker took that day.
Yes, you will receive a notification on your phone when the walk starts and another one when it’s finished. You will also get personalized reports through the app.
We automatically charge our clients’ credit or debit cards every Monday, so you’ll never have to worry about missing a payment.
Yes, we will report that to you with every walk.
When we have the opportunity to take a photo of your dog on a walk or your cat while playing, we will send that to you through the app.
Yes, you will have the capability of sending comments to them through the app.
We serve in excess of 15 different Chicago neighborhoods, and we’re always looking to expand. If you don’t find your neighborhood in our service area, get in touch with us anyway. We may already be in the process of expanding into your borough.
