We all need a furry companion to help us through the heat waves of deep Summer. You'd be hard pressed to find a better walking partner than Mac, our August Pet of the Month. He loves meeting new people and is very friendly with other dogs. Intensely loyal and playful, Mac will run, jump and chase you up the stairs. Grab a toy and play tug of war with this little rascal. Odds are he'll demand a belly rub before heading outside. Remember to give Mac his cold Kong from the fridge after his walk and you'll have a friend for life. Have a great August Mac!

From Andy Warhol and his dachshund Archie to Henri Matisse and his cats Minouche and Coussi, there are tons of celebrated creatives who understand the love of an animal.
Anyone who has a pet in the home knows that they bring endless joy and happiness to our lives. From puppy cuddles in the morning or sweet purrs from your kitty in the evening, pets are sweet as can be. Whether he's wigglin' & waggin' at the door or pathetically-cute and in bed when we arrive, Luigi always loves his pets and walks at our daily visits. Though not much ground is covered with his slow n' steady pace, his wobble warrants plenty of pedestrian pets. His walks are about quality over quantity as the sniffs are thoroughly sniffed and the humans are thoroughly watched. His cute and lovable personality are why our walkers can't get enough of him, and what makes Luigi Majestic Paws pet of the month!
Lea and Artemis are two of the newer kitties at Majestic Paws but they have already made a strong impression on our sitters. Lea is super friendly and playful, and seems to have an imaginary friend that she plays tag with as she will randomly dart across the unit at any moment. She’s also a sucker for cuddles and makes sure she gets her share of hugs and pets at every appointment J
Artemis is just as playful as Lea. His favorite game seems to be follow the leader and he normally stays glued to our sitter’s hip from the moment we arrive. While Lea gets her fix of hugs and pets, Artemis is not to be left out and makes sure he gets his share of belly rubs. Together, Lea and Artemis are this month’s Royal Couple of Majestic Paws!
Jackson was one of the very first dogs with Majestic Paws, and is still a regular 8 years later! Over the years Jackson has mellowed out considerably, but is always ready to make friends with whoever wants to play. He loves long walks, playing with his toys, and chewing his bones, but his favorite game to play is fetch. Jackson has great ears and can always hear his walker coming, and is always waiting anxiously at the door for his playtime with a huge smile :)
