Who doesn’t enjoy spending time at the beach? For those dogs whose people already know about Montrose, the dog friendly beach, lucky you! For those of you not familiar, this beach has truly gone to the dogs – you may not want to lay on a towel here, but you will want to take some towels for afterwards because your dog will be playing in the water and generally having a great time romping on the beach.  Check out the rules before you go and make sure you take appropriate steps to keep your dog, yourself, the beach and the water clean & safe – pick up after your pet and don’t let them do #2 in the water. If you can volunteer some extra time, there are park clean up days on April 23 and May 21, so grab a leash and head out for a great time.  http://www.mondog.org/index.php
